Suchita is based out of Pune and has been involved in making art for about 35 years now. She has been making paintings for years before her professional career began and has studied Arts as her post graduate subject.

She has been consistently making abstract art throughout her career and one can definitely see the curve of the excellence through her years of work. Along with paintings, she is also well experienced in making sculptures, stained glass, murals and other media.

She is a disciple of Arun Pathare whom she worked with for about 30 years along with Sharad. She is also was one of the main contributors to the book 'Pathare: Ek Avliya', written by her colleague Sharad Tarde.

They both received immense praise within and beyond the art community for their work on this book.

She has written numerous articles in reputed newspapers and has been interviewed on television and radio about the art she creates and about the process of creating abstract art.
